You will acquire new skills and be inspired to holistically support the professional growth and development of your teachers. You will gain a new perspective on your leadership practices, and leave refreshed and recharged with a clear vision for bringing positive changes to your daily work and learning community.

FACILITATING IMPACTFUL PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

Are you ready to take your training to a new level? In this highly interactive workshop you will gain new strategies to engage participants in their own learning. You will leave with an expanded repertoire of strategies to make your staff meetings more meaningful and relevant.

APPRECIATIVE INQUIRY: A POWERFUL PROCESS FOR SUPPORTING PROFESSIONAL GROWTH

Positive thinking leads to positive change! The Appreciative Inquiry (AI) process is a strength-based method for imagining, designing and developing both personal and organizational change. A clear overview of the five principles of AI and the 4 D Model will be introduced and examined. We will explore the power of questions and discover how to engage all stakeholders in powerful dialogues. OVERCOME YOUR IMMUNITY TO CHANGE

Change is hard, and something that we tend to avoid. In this experiential, interactive presentation you will identify the goals you would like to achieve and uncover your own “immune” system, allowing you to discover how to break the grip on your immunity to change. You will leave with a new perspective on how to approach the change process, and a renewed clarity on how to move forward with positive changes to enhance your professional life and your program.
This training is based on the book Immunity to Change by Robert Kegan and Lisa Lahey.
